There were now two cloud saves for me: the complete WIN8 and the just started UWP shared between WIN10 and android. Even playing challenges on these platforms wouldn't get anything to sync. Back on WIN10 and android, I still had the blank save file. Loading the game on a windows 8 virtual machine, I automatically got my cloud save to load, no problem, with 100% completion. Obviously I wasn't very interested in doing 12 months worth of challenges again so I set out to get my windows 8 progress back. Loading it up on android today, and I got no progress transferred: No daily challenges, no stats, no achievements, nothing. Today I thought I'd treat myself to any easy completion and fire up the UWP version on android. I played the WIN8 version(s) of this years ago and got all the achievements on it. (The solution used one PC running windows 10 only. Eventually after a couple more similar prompts, I had synced my progress across. Now loading up the WIN10 version it gave me a message saying it had found my windows 8 saves and was migrating them. Then, without uninstalling the WIN8 version, I installed the WIN10 version. The solution I eventually found is to uninstall solitaire on WIN10, install the WIN8 version of the app on WIN10, load up the WIN8 game on WIN10 to get your WIN8 save to load. At this point I had nearly given up hope. But reloading a WIN8 virtual machine still gave me the WIN8 cloud save. Taking the WIN8 virtual machine and upgrading it to a WIN10 virtual machine wiped my progress back - it loaded the WIN10 cloud save instead of upgrading the WIN8 save.
